1. Information We Collect

API Usage Data: When you use our API, we process prompts and completions in real time. By default, we do not store the content of your prompts or completions beyond the duration of the request.

Usage Logs: We log request metadata (model used, token counts, timestamp, API key identifier) for billing, analytics, and abuse prevention. This data is retained for 30 days.

Account Information: When you access our admin dashboard, we store your authentication credentials (hashed admin secret) and any API keys you create.

2. How We Use Information

To provide, maintain, and improve our API services
To calculate billing and usage statistics
To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or terms of service violations
To communicate service updates or security alerts

3. Data Storage and Security

All data is stored on our production servers located in the United States. We use industry-standard encryption (TLS) for data in transit. Admin credentials are hashed using SHA-256.

Prompt and completion content is processed in memory and is not persisted to disk unless you explicitly enable request logging through the admin settings (for debugging purposes).

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties except:

To upstream AI model providers (Codex/OpenAI) as necessary to fulfill your API requests
To comply with legal obligations or valid legal process
To protect our rights, property, or safety
